Our Story

Hi. We are Adam and Mimi, the heart and soul behind HEARTHLY CANDLES. We’re both Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) in the UAE for 29 years combined. A lifetime of missing our home country, our families, and the places that shaped us. Much like other expatriates, we yearn to be connected and feel the familiar warmth of home.

This is how HEARTHLY CANDLES was born. Inspired byt the HEARTH of a loving home, we hope to provide you with that warmth and connection to the people, places, things and experiences that you treasure the most.

At HEARTHLY CANDLES, each candle brings more than just fragrances. Each piece represents the scent of our fondest memories poured into wax – a soft reminder of the people, places and moments that shaped who we are. These memories that we treasure are what continuously keep us anchored and hopeful.

We carefully design each candle collection with nostalgia in mind: the sweetness of mom’s baked goods, the aroma of fresh coffee shared on a sunlit morning, the spiced goodness of grandma’s spice collections, the warmth, happiness and bitterness from the embrace of our first love and the joyful moments of holidays and special occasions.
